How we write and check our renter content

What we publish and why

Braud Properties publishes practical guides for people renting in Monroe, Louisiana: how leasing works, local utilities and services, Louisiana renter basics, area guides and planning tools.

The goal is to answer real questions renters ask us, with details they can act on. We do not publish articles to fill space.

Where facts come from

Facts about Braud Properties, such as the leasing steps, required documents and the application fee, come only from the policies published on this website. If something is not published, such as an income multiple or a pet policy, our articles say so and point you to the contact form instead of guessing.

Most articles are practical, general advice, such as checklists, questions to ask and everyday apartment care, and do not rely on outside facts. When an article or area guide does state an outside fact, such as a law or a utility office, it comes from an official or established source listed at the end of the page so you can check it yourself.

Articles do not quote current rents or availability. Those change daily, so check the live listings instead.

How AI tools are used

Some articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools. AI-assisted drafts are general advice and may only state facts about Braud Properties that are published on this website.

Every AI-assisted draft goes through a separate editorial review, by a different AI model, that checks for unsupported claims and scores the draft for usefulness, specificity and originality. Automated checks then reject the draft if it:

  • states a law, statistic or dollar amount that is not in the published site facts;
  • states a Braud Properties policy that is not published;
  • cites a source that does not load;
  • uses language that could steer people based on a protected characteristic under Fair Housing law;
  • repeats an existing article or is too short to be useful;
  • links to pages that do not exist.

Keeping content current

We check every outside link each month and update or remove content whose sources have changed. When an article is corrected or updated, the “Last updated” date on the article shows when that happened.

Not legal or financial advice

Articles about Louisiana law, insurance or budgeting are general information. Read the cited source, check your lease, and talk to a qualified professional before making a decision that depends on it.

Corrections

If you find something wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact form. Include the page address and what needs fixing. We correct verified errors and update the article’s date when we do.
